Bill Curtin Award
Throughout his career, Bill Curtin devoted a considerable amount of his time to sharing his knowledge with those that he worked with as well as the industry-wide community.
Following Bill’s death in 1991, a donation was made in his memory to the Institution of Civil Engineers by Curtins Consulting to establish a fund for an annual award. This medal for best paper from the Proceedings of ICE and Geotechnique in the area of ‘Research and Innovation’ continues to be awarded by the President of the ICE to this day.
