Curtins has joined forces with a group of engineering consultancies to form Ellipta; providing technical and claims handling expertise to the insurance sector.
ELLIPTA Limited is a joint venture company owned by 5 long-established engineering consultants with a common ideal of service to the insurance industry, initially based on many years of experience dealing with subsidence claims.
The shareholding firms are:-
- BV Consulting (formerly the WEEKS Group Plc)
- Curtins Consulting Ltd
- MLM Consulting Engineers Ltd
- Knapp Hicks and Partners Ltd
- Brian Pyle Associates
A Director of each of these companies represents the shareholders on the Ellipta Board.
ELLIPTA’s resources include over 700 staff covering a wide range of technical disciplines including engineering, surveying and the environmental sciences.
The Ellipta management team have been setting the standard in their market for the past five years, working together with building up a business that has successfully managed and resolved over £8m of technical claims within that period.
