The company supports a wide range of training activities for all employees – permanent, part-time or temporary – as part of its ongoing development and business plan.
Curtins are Investors in People accredited and to comply with the standard, all members of staff are encouraged to expand on their skills by undertaking further training and development to enable them to reach their full potential. This access is available to all employees regardless of their standing within the company.

The Company is committed to a system of performance management. This involves translating business objectives into individual performance terms, and supporting employees through training and development to achieve individual objectives. Appraisal is the system and process for the provision of feedback to employees on their performance and the opportunity to agree actions to assist their future development.
Curtins Graduate Training Programme, enable graduates to progress to Chartered status and is approved by the Institution of Civil Engineers. We also have a nationwide network of ICE approved Chartered Civil Engineers on hand to provide support to graduates on a day to day basis.
The company has a reputation for an innovative and creative approach to engineering and has worked closely with a number of construction industry bodies in the research and development of materials and forms of construction.
