Share ownership
Wider share ownership of Curtins Group was introduced in 2002 with the purpose of giving individual staff members the opportunity to own a stake in the company and benefit directly from their endeavours. Eligibility is assessed upon length of service and status within the company.
Holidays
Staff receive 25 days holiday per year in addition to all bank and public holidays. Increased holiday entitlement is available to senior grades of staff.
Holiday accommodation
The company has holiday accommodation located in Windermere, Lake District. Each member of staff is entitled to apply for a week’s holiday “free of charge” each year, subject to availability.
Life Assurance
All members of staff over the age of 18 are covered immediately on commencement of employment for Life Assurance which is non-contributory. This will provide the trustees with 2 x the employee’s basic salary as a lump sum on the death of an employee to pay to the employee’s dependents.
Pension Scheme
Curtins operate a contributory group money purchase pension scheme which is managed and administered by independent financial advisors Griffiths & Armour. Staff members over the age of 18 will be invited to join the scheme upon commencement of employment with the company. The company makes a contribution of 7% of the employee’s basic salary and the employee makes a contribution of 3% of their basic salary. Staff members can also make additional voluntary contributions (AVC).
Child Care Vouchers
Curtins offers staff the chance to join its Child Care Voucher scheme which is a versatile way to help parents with the cost of childcare via a salary sacrifice scheme.
Flexible Working – Family Friendly Policies
The company has implemented Family Friendly Policies to comply with the legislation of October 2006 and April 2007.
Private Health Care
Curtins runs a private health scheme through PruHealth, which all employees are eligible to join if they wish. Contributions are dependent on age and medical history.
Cycle to Work Scheme
Curtins Consulting offers a Cycle to Work scheme which is a salary sacrifice scheme run by "Salary Extras".
Medicash Health Plan Option
Curtins run the Medicash Health Plan which all employees are entitled to join. This scheme enables employees to claim money towards a wide range of everyday healthcare such as eyecare, dentistry, x-rays, tests and complimentary therapies
