Wolverhampton Interchange Now Complete and Open to the Public 01/08/2011
The £22.5 million Wolverhampton Interchange project for Neptune Developments involved the construction of a new 50m double span glazed bridge over Wolverhampton’s ring road to provide pedestrians with a safe link between the train station and the new futuristic bus station which has glazed pedestrian walkways with a lightweight PTFE roof supported off ‘bowstring trusses’.
The project also involved the construction of a new footbridge cross the canal, a new two storey building providing offices for Centro and retail space for a Sainsburys Local store & the refurbishment of the landmark Queens building.
