Structural Engineers Registration Scheme
Curtins are a registered body under the terms of the Structural Engineers Registration (SER) Scheme, a building standards system that came into operation in 2005 and bought into force new regulations set down by the Scottish Building Standards Agency (SBSA) to ensure the safe design of building structure.
Certification under the new Act is grounded in the principle that experienced, competent and responsible professionals can certify compliance with the Building Regulations without any further check by local authorities.
