2 Piccadilly Place
Following on from our work at Birmingham’s Brindleyplace, Curtins was appointed for Civil and Structural Engineering to design and construct a 70,000 sq ft headquarters building for the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive. Works included bridge abutments which connect the building and the rest of the development to Piccadilly Station.
The office for GMPTE has its own dedicated basement car park and was constructed in an insitu concrete frame with post tensioned floors. It also features a retail/public interface on the ground floor.
