HMP Rochester
Curtins are currently working with Wates on a temporary custodial facility adjacent an existing
prison in Rochester, Kent.
The temporary facilities comprise of steel framed modular units with a fabric structure providing the new sports hall. The proposed site is on a steep slope and to minimise foundation depths site grading was carefully considered. The below ground drainage incorporates the use of soakways.
The project has a value of £25 million.
