London Array Offshore Wind Farm
Located 12 miles (20km) off the Kent and Essex coasts, this proposed offshore wind farm consists of up to 341 turbines installed over a four year period, cabling, and associated substations.
Curtins are involved in the design of an onshore workshop and office building. The workshop will be used to service turbines brought onshore.
The workshop floor is 820 sqm, and the structure has a green roof.
Curtins were involved in the feasability stage with BBLB Architects, and the project is now progressing to design stage.
The client is London Array, a joint venture between DONG Energy, E.ON and Masdar.
