Royal Mail APC, Leeds
The £15 million Leeds Mail Centre is a 150,000 sq ft Automated Processing Centre (APC) located in Stourton, south of the city centre.
The steel framed structure and the heavily loaded floor slab are supported on piled foundations. Both the steel frame and the floor slab were specifically designed to accommodate the proposed Royal Mail equipment layout.
