1 Colmore Square
At the head of Birmingham’s Legal/Financial quarter, this new 200,000 sq ft office development is one of the most prominent buildings in Birmingham.

Following on from our work at Birmingham’s Brindleyplace, Curtins was appointed for Civil and Structural Engineering to design and construct a 70,000 sq ft headquarters building for the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive.

Designed by Penoyre & Prasad Architects, the Learning Village is Croydon’s first education PFI development. Innovative planning integrates learning, leisure and support facilities for Ashburton Community School, Ashburton Library, the Continuing Education and Training Service and Croydon Music Service.
Bessemer Building Link & Entrance, Imperial College London
This project has created a stunning and accessible entrance to the Bessemer Building to complement the recently completed internal and external refurbishments.
Bio Incubator Suite, Imperial College London
The Imperial Incubator is a 2,300 sq m facility housing early stage technology-based spin-out companies. It is co-located with specialist research centres at Imperial to create a cluster of activity centred around emerging technologies such as Bioengineering and Nanotechnology.
Bionanotechnology Centre, Imperial College London
The DTI funded Bionanotechnology Centre (UK MNT BNC), part of the Institute, opened in summer 2006 at Imperial College London. The Centre is a ‘state-of-the-art’ facility for rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept R&D, and characterisation.
Bluecoat School
Curtins were employed by the Bluecoat School Foundation to provide Civil and Structural engineering services for a £7.2 million refurbishment and upgrade of the existing Bluecoat School in Wavertree, Liverpool.
Bolton General Hospital
Curtins involvement with Bolton General Hospital similarly covered a number of projects costing over £50m and spread over some fifteen years.
