Built to service the increase in demand for air travel this 25m high tower at Bristol International Airport lends itself well to the construction of a 5 storey building with the visual control room on top rather that the more conventional concrete stack approach which is required for taller towers.
The steel framed building is constructed around a central concrete lift shaft to provide enhanced stability in a very exposed location.
