The IASTI Newark project comprises the design and construction of a £12m new build campus in the centre of the historic Newark town, providing world class training for the air and space industry.

The new centre will be located on a former livestock market, which has been demolished and relocated to a preferred site to make way for the project. Construction is due to start in 2022, with the state-of-the-art aviation training facility opening in September 2023.

The IASTI project will create facilities that reflect the required industry, education, training and regulatory requirements to deliver highly skilled pilots, engineers and flight dispatchers.

At the forefront of project goals is the implementation of innovative techniques and the promotion of net-zero carbon emissions targets to create a sustainable development.
