We were appointed to this 27,000m2 facility which will be the largest of its kind in Wales and the South West of England. It comprises a 4,000m2 exhibition hall capable of hosting gala dinners for 3,000 guests, a flexible 1,500 seat state-of-the-art auditorium and a high design atrium space that will link all the spaces and associated parking, catering facilities and office spaces. Two storeys of basement parking have been designed as well as a multi-storey car park over four floors.

The design provides an iconic and distinct form that utilises traditional Welsh slate and complements the established presence of the existing hotel. The design responds to the environmental capital that the adjacent woodland provides.

The visual connectivity with the landscape is present throughout the building, with prominent sight lines that create a distinct and unique conference experience.
