A bespoke commission to review the existing Health and Safety File, O&M information and all available supporting documentation pertaining to the current glazing provision to the Sheppard Library including residual risk register; access, cleaning and maintenance strategy; and glazing replacement strategy. The project included for the provision of a report with findings, recommendations and next steps – advising on gaps identified, adequacy of information provided, and the steps required to compile an information pack for the glazing in relation to the safe working load, future use, maintenance and replacement.

The project comprises of part remodelling and part extension of House 11 at the Belvedere Academy to focus on expanding the teaching provision. Proposals include extending at the uppermost end of the grounds and connecting into the existing house.

Role: Principal Designer and CDM Adviser to Client
The project is for the demolition and extension of an existing gable to form additional classrooms as well as the replacement of the historic oil fired heating system for a conventional gas system to the kitchens; classrooms; and WC’s.

Role: Principal Designer and CDM Adviser to Client
The works included re-slating of pitched roofs (including the renewal of fascia boards and soffits; rainwater goods; re-pointing of parapet walls; replacement of defective lead work; and re-bedding of coping stones); renewal of asphalt / mineral felt flat roof areas; replacement roof lights and upgrade of insulation; upgrade of insulation; and the removal and safe disposal of asbestos within the roof void. The asbestos works were undertaken under license.
