Curtins have a long history of working in local regions, providing opportunities for youth development through Work Experience, Summer and Industrial Placements.
We offer work experience for school and college students to provide a real insight into the working environment, helping to shape students understanding of the profession and start to identify a potential career path.

There are also opportunities to spend the summer working at Curtins, with summer programmes lasting up to 12 weeks from June to September. This exposure to experienced professionals will really help you prepare for an Engineering career, boost your CV whilst contributing towards live projects, through a planned and mentored process.
Our industrial placements are 12-month contracts, where we support students in gaining valuable work experience as part of their academic studies. Whilst with us, a structured approach will be taken to compliment the placement outcomes, with objectives being set and regularly reviewed.
