Comprising three buildings and spanning 6,060 m², the development enhances opportunities for student support, industry engagement, entrepreneurship, and research and innovation. It also features event spaces for conferences, a striking double-height café at ground level, and a pedestrian plaza that serves as a new landmark and the welcoming front door to the Bishopstown campus for students and visitors.

The Challenge

To design a multifunctional facility that seamlessly integrates academic learning, student engagement, and industry collaboration while creating a striking new gateway to the Bishopstown campus. It needed to accommodate diverse uses - support services, research, events, and social spaces - within a cohesive and inviting environment.

Our Solution

To provide detailed design and delivery of an innovative three-building scheme spanning 6,060 m², featuring flexible learning spaces, engagement offices, and event areas alongside a double-height café and pedestrian plaza. This design not only enhances student support and collaboration but also establishes a vibrant landmark that reflects Munster Technological University’s forward-thinking vision.
