We provide early strategic thinking to projects to identify key issues and risks. Coupled with the capability to resolve and negotiate difficult problems, we have developed a consistently high standing with our clients for delivering successful outcomes.
Sustainable transport solutions are an important requirement in the support of both local and national planning policies. Members of our team have significant experience in preparing cost-effective plans, strategies, and solutions up to and through the planning application process, including public consultation, exhibitions, and planning appeals, as necessary.
We understand and appreciate the transport impact that developments can have on the local area, as well as the wider implications of the scheme. We actively engage with Council Highways Officers and other key consultees, such as Active Travel England and National Highways, public transport operators, and design team members to collaborate on solutions that build thriving communities.
Following successful planning, we support in discharging relevant transport and highway conditions with Travel Plan support, traffic and parking-related management plans and strategies, and progression of the detailed design of associated highway infrastructure improvements, delivered by our own civil and structural engineering team.
We have extensive experience in leading negotiations with local highways authorities over S106 contributions, ensuring that schemes are deliverable for our clients.
Finally, we assist clients and contractors in project delivery. Be this through stopping-up orders, traffic regulation orders, or general construction logistics support, our team will deliver a high-quality service with continuity towards completion.
Our innovative approach to due diligence, pre-planning and other development services.
With a rich history of embracing cutting-edge technology, we lead the way in digital delivery. Accredited with the BSI BIM Kitemark, we collaborate in a digital environment using the latest industry tools, and continuously enhance our digital capabilities to add tangible value to our projects.
At Curtins, sustainability is at the core of our approach as we strive to build a better future.
“From a Transport Planning perspective, we’d also like to pass on our appreciation for a job exceptionally well done on a complex and demanding piece of work. Securing a recommendation for approval at this stage is the best possible outcome, and we genuinely value the effort, collaboration, and professionalism that went into achieving it.”
We’re excited to share that our Manchester team has moved into a new Grade A+ workspace in the heart of the city centre.
