We don’t pay lip service to sustainability. We know we can’t afford to – no individual or business can. This is why we work so hard to not only make positive changes ourselves, but also to lead and collaborate with others to maximise our impact. By measuring both our project and business emissions to accurately assess our carbon impact and through meticulous analysis and reporting, we have set realistic and achievable targets for reduction.

Our commitment is to decrease the average embodied carbon in our projects from 340kgCO2e/m2 to 295kgCO2e/m2 by 2030.

By actively working towards these goals, we strive to make a positive impact on the environment and create a more sustainable future for all.

Dalmarnock Purifier Studios, Glasgow

Workplaces

This project involves the redevelopment of a challenging brownfield site with poor ground conditions and significant contamination constraints. Early engagement with specialist piling contractors helped inform the design approach, improve cost certainty, and ensure the proposed solution was both practical and economically viable.

Mixed Use Regeneration

The Borough Yard project involves the regeneration and transformation of a significant 12-hectare brownfield site, paving the way for approximately 1,400 new homes. This initiative directly supports Wirral Council’s Local Plan for 2021–2037, contributing to the area’s long-term growth and regeneration.

Brent Cross Plot 14

Mixed Use Regeneration

Curtins is supporting Related Argent on Brent Cross Town, a major new neighbourhood in North London. Built using the hyTower structural system, Plot 14 comprises three mixed-use residential buildings of up to 12 storeys, providing 286 build-to-rent new homes, retail space and a basement car park, contributing to the creation of a vibrant and sustainable new neighbourhood.

The Cumberland Sports Village is being developed as a modern, multi-purpose destination that extends beyond traditional sporting facilities. Designed to serve both athletes and the wider community, the development will provide high-quality spaces for events, hospitality, business meetings, and community activities, creating a vibrant hub for residents across the region. Curtins is proud to support Cumberland Sports Village, creating lasting health, wellbeing, social and economic benefits for the community for generations to come.
