- Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease officially opens
The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease - the first of its kind in the UK - is now officially open, and we’re proud to have played a part in its journey.
Located at Seacroft Hospital, the centre brings together a wide array of Motor Neurone Disease services under one roof for patients of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. These include specialist nurses, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, nutritionists, and more, offering holistic and coordinated care in a dedicated space.
To mark the occasion, Curtins Associate, Matt Young and Project Engineer, George Marchant visited the centre to present a special donation: a signed and worn vest from rugby legend, Kevin Sinfield during his 7v7 challenge in 2023. It was gifted by us in support of the cause to a specialist Nurse at the centre, Claire Lang at the Rob Burrow MND Centre at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in this transformative project. The centre looks fantastic, and we’re excited to see the positive impact it will have on patients, families, and the wider community.
