Curtins were appointed to prepare a Transport Statement (TS) for a proposed extension to the Parkway Shopping Centre in Coulby Newham. The Shopping Centre has 28 units comprising 10,183 square meters of retail space.

Works included: agreeing a scope for the work alongside Middlesbrough Council, producing a detailed Accessibility Analysis to prove the sustainability of the location, arranging Parking Surveys and Parking Analysis, Junction Assessments for two roundabouts. As well as; providing a non-technical summary for Committee Members clearly setting out the findings of the Transport Statement and Parking Analysis.

Curtins also reviewed proposed upgrades to one of the car parks at the centre. We produced a Framework Travel plan, as well as testing the revised Service Yard design in Auto-track to produce a summary for the client.
