The project is the design of a new independent school building to increase provision from 1,400 pupils to 1,765 pupils.

The new school will be a two-storey rectangular shape with atrium assembly / dining hall. It will provide specific teaching facilities for science and ICT with generic classrooms for a variety of uses, staff facilities, and a double height assembly / dining hall space.

The new teaching block is situated within the grounds of the existing Horsforth School and is located on the existing hard play area. To replace the lost hard play area, new hard play/ MUGA pitches are to be provided and will also include four tennis courts.
