Located on a disused brownfield site with an existing single storey building, the development at 345 Southwark Park Road forms part of the Southwark Regeneration in Partnership Programme – an initiative that aims to deliver 1,500 new homes through development partnership agreements over 20 sites in the borough.

The proposed scheme is 7 storeys in height, and consists of 46 units (22 social and 24 private rent), with flexible business and commercial spaces on the ground floor, plus associated facilities such as cycle and refuse stores. The total accommodation provided will cover a floor area of 3235m2.

The 7-storey tower comprises a concrete frame built on RC piling foundations, with stability provided through RC core wall and RC walls. Balconies have been designed using steel beams with a thermal break provided to avoid ‘cold bridge’ effect.

    Key points:

    • Secured by Design (SBD) bronze certification
