Curtins were appointed by Select Property Group and Bruntwood to provide multi-disciplinary advice for this large, exciting mixed-use scheme located off Oxford Road in Manchester city centre.
We inputted into the masterplan to guide and support the development of individual buildings on the site, identifying traffic and transport interventions that would offer significant benefits to the masterplan but also the wider highway network.
Following the masterplanning stage, we provided a Transport Assessment, Travel Plan and Environmental Impact Assessment to support the scheme through the planning process. This involved us working very closely with Transport for Greater Manchester and utilising their city centre SATURN model to test the impacts of the development.
As part of the wider masterplan for the Circle Square site, the PRS element will provide 624 apartments. Other parts of the masterplan include student accommodation, commercial office space, a central pavilion building and extensive public realm.
