Colchester Academy is one of a batch of five academies in Kent. The scheme comprises the phased new build teaching block and the remodelling of the Colchester Centre sports hall and changing rooms.

We have employed a steel cellular frame with composite concrete profiled slabs for the superstructure, with ground bearing slab over pad foundations. Cellcore has been incorporated in the foundation construction to mitigate the adverse effects of heave.
