The Heart of Campus project within the existing Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus consisted of the demolition of the George Elliot building creating a vibrant central pavilion with the addition of a new state-of-the-art teaching block, a fully refurbished refectory and full external landscaping.
The design takes advantage of the natural slope of the site which creates a broad, southfacing covered colonnade terrace overlooking the other university buildings. This design has created an impressive new front door and a clear focal point located in the middle of the campus.
