A feasibility scheme for Plymouth University for a purpose designed student accommodation, 517 bedrooms, in cluster flats, with supporting communal and commercial space in central Plymouth.

The scheme also involved demolition of the existing 1960’s Hoe Centre where we acted as Project Management on behalf of the Client. Structural options considered utilised a concrete transfer structure at 1st floor supporting either modular precast twin-wall precast concrete system or a modular cross-laminated timber system.

We produced Flood Risk Assessment, Phase 1 & 2 Geotechnical reports and a Green Travel and Transport Plan for Planning.
