The project involved the remodel, refurbishment and new-build of student facilities within the constraints of a Grade II listed building.

The project involved opening up internal areas of the existing building to create an easily accessible student hub. A number of new openings were formed using a combination of full perimeter steel ‘goalpost’ frames. Also, two existing columns supporting a previously formed glazed roof were removed and new supporting beams were designed to ensure that the glazed roof continued to perform as installed.
