    This 12-storey block includes 150 BTR units together with 550 student bedrooms. We have been involved in the design to support a detailed planning application, which was approved in August 2018. The site is known to have contaminated ground due to historic industrial use. The site is sloping and the proposed scheme requires significant bulk earthworks.

    We developed a Materials Management Plan and remediation strategy which minimised the extent of bulk earthworks reduced the costs for removing material from the site.

    The superstructure has been designed as a reinforced concrete flat slab solution, which has minimised the building height adjacent to the listed property.
