This new-build project included the design and construction of approximately 11,500m2 over six floors, for use by the LJMU Centre for the Faculty of Business and Law, the Liverpool Screen School, and the University’s new Professional Centre.

The new structure comprises a six storey, 900T steel frame, supporting concrete floor slabs cast onto profiled metal decking. The floor plates above 1st floor cantilever out some 6m towards Brownlow Hill and are tied back to the main frame via a series of vertically braced frames.
