    A £19m seven storey new build student accommodation development, providing D1 Community space over part of the ground floor and basement. The D1 space is formed with insitu RC walls, columns and slabs up to a transfer deck at first floor, which supports the precast cross wall and slabs forming the accommodation above.

    The remainder of the building footprint is formed with piled ground beams supporting the pre-cast cross walls and slabs over. Each of the 500 single bedrooms has a prefabricated bathroom pod, with a communal kitchen provided for clusters of up to nine bedrooms.

    The central courtyard provides amenity space at ground floor and an open “meadow” at first floor.
