New College Doncaster is a 9,450sqm sixth
form college with individual learning zones
based around a multi-functional hub.

The project is steel framed with suspended
precast floors to form the upper stories and
lateral restraint is provided by braced bays at
core locations. A traditional pad foundations
solution is used.

The site is poorly serviced by surface water
and foul water connections. Extensive
soakaway tests were undertaken to ensure
all surface water is kept on site and created a
new foul water network which discharges the
foul water into the managed network.
