    This project involved the redevelopment of an existing brownfield site to facilitate the relocation of the Royal Mail East London Network Hub.

    It incorporates the partial demolition of an existing industrial unit to create a new cross docking facility. Significant strengthening works were undertaken to the existing steel frame, which involved the modification of existing columns to create lattice columns, together with the introduction of 35 metre long Macalloy tension rods to tie the eaves together.

    The existing warehouse slab levels were also increased using polystyrene blocks to minimise the impact on the existing poor gound.
