£51m Hoyle Street PRS Scheme, Sheffield

Client: Scotfield Group

Role: Principal Designer and CDM Adviser to Client

Design and construction of a flagship PRS residential led development by Scotfield Group. Spread across five blocks ranging from four to 20 floors in height, Hoyle Street will comprise 490 residential units including studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, 11 four bedroom townhouses, four commercial units totalling 6,000 sqft, new public squares and pedestrian routes, and a number of private indoor and outdoor amenity spaces for residents.

£90m The Lexington, Liverpool

Client: Moda Living / BCEGI Construction (UK) Ltd

Role: Adviser to Principal Designer

The Lexington is a build-to-rent development overlooking Liverpool waterfront forming part of the Liverpool Waters regeneration. The landmark development includes an iconic 34 storey tower, comprising of 325 units for the private rented sector. The building comes complete with a 17th floor sky lounge, residents roof terrace and health and wellbeing facilities, providing high quality living facilities and amenities to residents.

The Lexington

£41m Church Street, Eccles

Client: Silverlane Developments / BCEGI Construction (UK) Ltd

Role: Adviser to Principal Designer

The project involves for the demolition of a series of existing commercial buildings to make way for the construction of a mixed use development on Church Street, Eccles. The development shall include 272 no. residential apartments, 685 sqm of commercial space and 19 no. car parking spaces. The residential apartments and commercial space shall take the form of 3 interlinked blocks consisting of 4, 6 and 23 storeys, with commercial space sitting at ground floor level. Associated works shall also be undertaken to landscape the surrounding areas and make good footpaths and highways.

Church Street

We appointed Curtins to provide the Principal Designer Adviser duties on a large residential scheme a few years ago and they have subsequently looked at all our other projects. Their sound advice, continual support and gentle demeanour have resulted in cementing the great relationship we now have, and we look forward to delivering other schemes together in the future.

Liverpool International College

£25m, Liverpool International College (Kaplan Living Residencies), Liverpool

Client: Kaplan Living

Role: Principal Designer

A new “live-learn” facility catering for 900 students and with high-quality residential accommodation for 260. One of the first to be developed as part of the new Paddington Village within the Knowledge Quarter. The new development provides 45,000 sqft of education and learning facilities along with 260 residential bedrooms. The scheme is a Joint Venture between Kaplan and University of Liverpool.

£50m Rochdale Riverside Phase 2 (Upperbanks), Greater Manchester

Client: Rochdale Borough Council / Genr8 Developments / Cartwright Pickard / Willmott Dixon

Role: Principal Designer

A mixed-use project comprising 244 Build to Rent Apartments across two blocks; a 147-bed 7-storey Hotel; and Public Realm. Initially appointed for the extensive enabling works and utilities package and then for the Apartments and overall masterplan development. We are now appointed by the Contractor as Adviser to Principal Designer for all elements of the scheme through to practical completion.
