The project is for the design and construction of a new 6-7 level multi–storey car park on the existing north car park adjacent to Dryclough Lane at Calderdale Royal Hospital, Halifax. The project will see an increase in parking providing an additional 600 No. parking spaces adjacent to the main north entrance to the hospital off Dryclough Lane. The project also includes for road realignment works to the existing site entrance off Dryclough Lane and formation of a new internal road to provide access into the proposed multi-storey car park.

£14m East Access Road, Edinburgh

Role: Principal Designer
New access road connecting the airport to the existing road network at Gogar, providing the opportunity to improve access by both motorised modes (public transport, taxi and car) as well as non-motorised links (pedestrian and cycle). The project will alleviate capacity issues on Eastfield Road and allow additional flow to and from the airport.
£250k Digital Media Improvements – iVisions / Digital Airport Panels (DAPs), Edinburgh

As part of ongoing investment in Edinburgh Airport, 14 new iVisions were installed, forming a ‘runway’ through the Departure Lounge. The fleet of 80” screens are part of the Edinburgh Digital Airport Panels
(DAPs) network.

Role: Adviser to Principal Designer
Working closely with our Client (Walker Construction), Grainger PLC and key stakeholders Haringey London Borough Council and Transport for London [TfL], the project brief includes for the relocation of a bus shelter; associated service diversions; installation of raised table; amendments to gully positions; street lighting; 7No. new disabled car parking bays; and a carpool space. The commission is to provide Adviser to Principal Designer consultancy services through design and construction to handover.
£4.8m Swansgate Car Park, Wellingborough
Client: Wellingborough Council / Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure
Role: Principal Designer
The project comprised of refurbishment works to the existing multi–storey car pack and link bridge at Swansgate Shopping Centre. The existing car park comprises of 3 levels plus a roof area and the refurbishment works included structural repairs; new surface coatings; new barrier; electrical and mechanical upgrades; and improvements to lighting and CCTV. A major element to the project involved repair of the concrete frame, where the reinforced steel bar had begun to corrode causing the concrete to spall in more than 3,500 places.
£1.4m Woking Parking Solutions, Surrey

Role: Adviser to Principal Designer
The project is for the design and installation of intelligent parking solutions across six multi-storey car parks for Woking Borough Council. The project scope includes for but is not limited to – a traditional pay foot monitoring system; highway BMS signage; signage within car park; counting system; and bay monitoring.
