In its fourth year across the river from our office in Leeds, we headed to UKReiiF 2025 with representatives joining the conference from across our offices.
As well as catching the highlights within the UKREiiF walls, we were speakers at the conference, and hosted fringe events, lunches, and 121 meetings. Our highlights are listed on this page.
Breakfast with Curtins
Tuesday 20th May
More than 150 people signed up to join us at Rose Wharf to kick start the conference with a hearty breakfast and networking in the recently renovated lower ground space below our office.
Understanding the Procurement Act
Wednesday 21st May
The Procurement Act came into effect on Monday 24 February 2025. We partnered with Kier to share how the new preliminary market engagement provisions can help achieve better outcomes for the public sector. Guests heard from:

- Cllr Abi Brown OBE, Chair of the LGA Improvement and Innovation Board and Non-Executive Director at Homes England: Local Authority Perspective

Our Director of Communications, Rhiannon Carss joined Caddick Group for a breakfast panel at Rose Wharf on the Future of Office Regeneration. This unique venue blends rich heritage with modern workspaces that cater to the evolving needs of today's businesses - sustainability, flexibility and high-quality amenities. Guests heard directly from the businesses who chose Rose Wharf as their preferred environment to grow their Yorkshire team.
Building Balance - Advancing Gender Equality in Construction

As part of our partnership with the Breaking Down Barriers Commission, Board Directors Jon Moister and Rhiannon Carss joined the Regeneration Brainery Panel to explore how we can embed gender equality into the very blueprint of our industry. With a focus on long-term and systemic change, they examined proven examples of what is needed for the workforce of the future.
Rapid Urbanisation Panel Discussion
Thursday 22nd May
In collaboration with the Association for Consultancy and Engineering Emerging Professionals Group, we hosted a discussion on rapid urbanisation of our Northern cities.
Invited professionals from across the construction industry discussed the specific challenges of expanding our towns and cities to meet population growth, and the opportunities to create thriving new neighbourhoods that embrace sustainable design, reuse, wellbeing and considered infrastructure.
