We are thrilled to share that we reached the shortlist twice at the New Civil Engineer Awards 2024, demonstrating engineering excellence in:

  • Consultancy of the Year

  • Best Place to Work - Large Consulting Firm

Ultimately, the two awards went to large, international firms but we are extremely proud to have been selected as finalists against such a high calibre of businesses, especially as we were one of only three for Consultancy of the Year.

We have grown organically over our 64 years, which has enabled us to carry forward the legacy of our founder, Bill Curtin and embed his values within our people. We maintain a sense of family - connected across our offices - whilst delivering innovative, sustainable and an exciting array of high-calibre projects.

We widely invest in our people and this make us massively proud. We find ourselves in a market where we compete against multi-national, multi-disciplinary organisations with huge budgets; and yet we feel that we have people development initiatives that would be the envy of all of them.

So, no win this year but we are delighted to be recognised as nominees for these two prestigious categories. They're testament to our wonderful people, who own our business as an Employee Owned Trust.
