We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been named the Home Grown Employer Award Winner at this year’s Employer’s Excellence Awards, hosted by Metro at the stunning Hilton Deansgate. It was an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and recognition, with dinner, entertainment, and awards presented by the charismatic Vernon Kay.

This prestigious award celebrates organisations that have cultivated talent from within, championing internal growth, development, and long-term career progression. It’s a testament to our commitment to nurturing potential and creating opportunities for our team to thrive.

We were also incredibly proud to be nominated for Outstanding Commitment to the Environment, recognising our ongoing efforts to embed sustainability into everything we do - from our operations to our culture.

The night was made even more special with two of our inspiring leaders being shortlisted for individual honours:

  • HR Leader of the Year – Helen Salt, recognised for their visionary approach to people and culture.

  • Marketing Leader of the Year – Rhiannon Carss, celebrated for bold creativity and strategic impact.

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners! It was a pleasure to share the evening with businesses that value their people as deeply as we do, and whose commitment to building positive, thriving workplace cultures truly resonates with our own.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this achievement possible. Here’s to growing from within and building a future we’re proud of!

While attention has focused on housing and planning reform, the new flood and drainage requirements could significantly affect development sites across England. The changes do not necessarily make development harder, but they do make it essential to identify flood and drainage constraints early, as these are now key development considerations rather than just technical issues.
