Trade Unions

At Curtins, we respect the right of our colleagues to choose whether or not to join a trade union. We are committed to engaging openly and constructively with trade unions and to supporting the rights of our colleagues.

We also believe that having a strong employee voice within Curtins is an important part of being an employee-owned business. We see these things as complementary: colleagues should be free to choose whether they want trade union representation, while also having meaningful opportunities to contribute directly to the way Curtins operates and develops.

Trade union access to Curtins

Trade unions wishing to request access to colleagues at Curtins should complete our Trade Union Access Request Form.

Alternatively, please email TUaccessrequest@curtins.com to discuss your request. We may ask you to complete the access request form so that we have the information required to consider and respond to your request.

Employee voice at Curtins

Curtins became 100% employee-owned in July 2021, and employee voice is an important part of how we want employee ownership to work in practice. Our Employee Forum provides a formal channel through which colleagues can raise issues, share feedback and contribute to discussions about Curtins and its future.

Alongside the Employee Forum, we provide a range of opportunities for colleagues to share their views, ideas and experiences directly. We continue to develop our approach to employee voice so that colleagues have meaningful opportunities to be heard and to help shape the business we collectively own.
