Project Overview
The new Unit is situated within the existing Hospital site and is designed to provide comfortable and supportive residential facilities for up to 15 adults. The accommodation consists of a mix of single and shared flats, ensuring residents have both privacy and opportunities for social interaction. Additionally, the Unit features a variety of thoughtfully designed internal and external shared spaces that cater to sensory experiences, therapeutic activities, and recreational engagement, fostering a holistic environment that promotes well-being, independence, and community integration.

Developing a residential Unit within an active hospital site while ensuring accessibility, privacy, and integration of therapeutic and recreational spaces for residents.
Our Solution
Designing single and shared flats to balance independence and social interaction, incorporating diverse shared areas for sensory and therapy activities, and carefully planning internal and external spaces to foster a supportive and engaging environment.
