Project Overview
This 165 student residence at Haymarket Edinburgh started onsite in summer 2023.
The project regenerated a 0.16-hectare brownfield site that has lain derelict for many years and is being undertaken by Ladybank Developments - a joint venture between GSS Developments and London and Scottish Property Investment Management.
This is a well connected location for students as it is less than a 2 minute walk from Haymarket Train Station. Key features include an external roof terrace, gym, cinema and 154 (100%) cycle spaces.

The Challenge
The building is located over Scottish Water sewers and it was a challenge achieving approvals for the build over.
Our Solution
Curtins played a key part is achieving approvals for the build over. This formed part of a transfer structure two storeys above the sewer to provide future access.
