Over six weeks, our Civils Summer Programme gave students from across the UK valuable insight into the world of civil engineering. Through sessions led by Curtins professionals and industry experts, participants explored engineering careers, digital delivery, major project development, sustainability, climate resilience and professional development.

Students gained first-hand experience through project case studies including Liverpool Waters and White City Living, collaborative workshops, networking opportunities and practical engineering challenges. The programme also covered emerging technologies, sustainable design principles, graduate careers and personal branding, helping participants develop both technical knowledge and professional skills.

The programme concluded with a keynote from ICE President David Porter, recognition of our Blog/Vlog Challenge winners and a celebration of another successful year inspiring the next generation of engineers.

Getogether 2026: Celebrating the People Behind Curtins

For over 40 years, our Getogether has been a reminder that while we deliver engineering excellence, it's our people who make Curtins what it is. This year, colleagues from all 13 of our offices came together at Manchester's Victoria Warehouse for a day of fairground-themed challenges. The evening concluded with dinner and our annual awards, recognising those who embody our values every day. Because great businesses are built on great people.
