Our 2023 Civil and Sustainable Infrastructure Summer Insight Programme has begun! With 35 keen and inquisitive students, we are embarking on a development programme over the next 5 weeks to support future talent in our industry. Through the programme, we hope to promote social mobility and accessible opportunities for all.

This week the students were welcomed onto the programme by Rebecca King MCIPD MBA and Tom Leake, who manage the programme, as well as Board Director Neil Parkinson who spoke about Curtins and what makes us who we are. The group also heard about Jake Busby’s journey with us since joining as a civil engineering graduate, including his route to Chartership.  Plenty of inspiration for the students, as they consider their futures in civil engineering, hopefully with Curtins in mind!

We are extremely pleased to be working, once again, with Symetri Europe to deliver the programme. Symetri have and how they will be supporting students with technical e-learning as well as contributing subject matter expertise across the scheme. We are very happy to have them supporting this initiative and the students overwhelmingly agreed!
