On 20th July we had the privilege of being named winner of People Development Awards at the Constructing Excellence South West Awards 2023!

We have been shortlisted for People Development at CE regional awards for several years, but our continued focus on nurturing our people to reach their full potential, alongside our promotion to Investors in People Platinum accreditation, has been truly recognised in this trophy.

According to Constructing Excellence, the award "recognises organisations who appreciate and nurture their workforce to ensure they maximise the value of everyone’s contribution to the business".

Our founder, Bill Curtin, instilled the importance of staff development into our ‘DNA’, and helping our people to flourish is at the heart of our business. We’re proud to have our approach celebrated as an example of best practice through this accolade.

Stephen Beggs: Conservation Accredited Engineer (CARE)

Stephen Beggs, structural engineer and business unit director for our Bristol office, has achieved Conservation Accreditation Status (CARE) with ICE / IStructE - a prestigious recognition awarded to engineers with proven expertise in the conservation of historic structures and sites. Just over 100 professionals nationwide currently hold this accreditation.
