Mentec House shortlisted at the ICE Ireland Awards 2024

We’re delighted that our work on Mentec House in Dun Laoghaire has been shortlisted at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2024 for Engineering Design Excellence – Element Value Up to €10m.

The scheme, for Kouchin Properties, is a high quality residential/mixed use development that forms part of the regeneration of an outdated industrial area in Dun Laoghaire. It provides a mixture of high end and affordable rental apartments, in answer to the critical housing shortage currently in place around Dublin. The project demonstrates how the use of MMC and digital technologies can be used to provide an efficient and sustainable design.

Mentec House includes a striking new bridge that crosses to Clonkeen Park. Its visually dramatic appearance will provide a pleasant viewing experience for passers-by fortunate to live in such a beautiful setting.
