Here at Curtins, we believe in fostering meaningful human connections that resonate with the hearts and minds of our stakeholders, building strong relationships and communities that thrive and flourish.

Championing Inclusion

Building on our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, we built on two areas of focus this year: neurodiversity and gender equality.

As part of Neurodiversity Awareness Month, we shone a light on neurodiversity through an insightful webinar with a guest speaker, Richard Lang from Babcock / ICE South West, and provided further training alongside to ensure our teams have the skills to act in an inclusive way both inside and outside of work.

This year, we also introduced Maternity at Work Guidance designed to support both employees preparing for maternity leave and managers, helping everyone feel confident and comfortable through every step of the journey.

Celebrating Our People

To show our appreciation for the incredible efforts of our staff this year, we arranged our yearly walking weekend - a chance to unwind in the countryside, connect with colleagues they might not usually meet, and enjoy a fun weekend without the focus on work.

We also hosted our second‑ever Curtins Fest - a month of activities across our offices. From getting creative with bath bomb making to embracing adventure on the Alpine Coaster, it was all about coming together and switching off.

As part of Curtins Fest, we held our annual awards, shining a spotlight on individuals who truly embody our values every single day.

Marking Milestones

We also celebrated our 65th anniversary with a series of office events, while continuing to invest in our spaces. This included relocating to new offices in Edinburgh and refurbishing our Bristol office, ensuring that both staff and clients feel comfortable and enjoy their surroundings.

To us, being human means recognising the value of every individual, celebrating achievements, and creating spaces where people can flourish.
